You will need:
- 7mm crochet hook
- Super Bulky (6) yarn in white - 15g/10y + lid color - scrap amount
- Safety eye (I prefer 16mm but you can use what fits best)
- Hot glue/E6000/Gem-Tac to secure safety eye to bottle base
- Darning needle
- Polyfil
- Stitch marker
**PLEASE NOTE: SAFETY EYES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 3. PLEASE USE ADULT SUPERVISION WITH THIS ACCESSORY AS THEY CAN BE A CHOKING RISK.
Bottle Base:
With white.
Rnd 1: HDC 6 in a MR (6)
Rnd 2 3LO: SC 6 (6)
Rnds 3-7: SC 6 (6) | 5 rnds/30 total sts
*Stuff bottle very lightly with polyfil.
Rnd 8 BLO: SC 6 (6)
*FO & leave a long tail. Weave tail through front loops of remaining sts and gently pull tight to close. Direct tail through bottle and out the bottom, pull taut to flatten the top (this is where you will glue the safety eye). Weave in end.
Bottle Lid:
With white.
Rnd 1: SC 4 in a MR (4)
Rnd 2: SC 4 (4)
Rnd 3: inc x4 (8)
*CC to lid color.
Rnd 4 FLO: (HDC, inc) x4 (12)
Rnd 5: LOOSELY sl st 12 (12)
*FO & trim tails. Lid should be clear of tails to ensure it fits on the bottle base. Stretch a bit if needed.
Assembly:
Secure safety eye to the top of the bottle base with glue of choice (hot glue, E6000, Gem-Tac).
